The 6005 HVAC/R Series is a versatile general-purpose sensor for temperature measurement of gas, air or liquid in HVAC and refrigeration situations. QTI is able to customize these assemblies with an NTC thermistor, RTD or thermocouple sensing element. Housing material and size can also be specified. These sensors are usually secured to a pipe or duct in an HVAC system using clips or cable ties to accurately measure the surface temperature of these elements.
